Being. is a simple tool for you to determine ‘how to be’ - in any situation.
In a few easy steps Being. will help you create a Design Code to tackle anything life throws at you.

Life hurtles challenges our way everyday. These can be little things that make us feel frustrated or flustered, and sometimes big things that leave us feeling out of control and unsure of what to do – things that need much more than a ‘to-do list’ to get through.

Yet, there is a small space between a happening and our response, in which we get to choose how we want to respond in any situation.

When you hear yourself saying “I don’t know what to do” – simply create a Design Code to determine ‘how to be’.

It is the closest you will possibly ever get to free-will.

Being. is a tool for individuals to develop a Design Code, to choose ‘how to be’ in the world - in any situation.

It can transform fluster to focus, anxiety to action, craving to control, stress to success and procrastination to productivity.

You can create a different Design Code for as many different life situations as you like.

Think of a situation you find yourself in.
This could be something seriously challenging or day-to-day.
Use the app to find 5-10 words that best describe how you want to be in this situation.
Don’t overthink it.
Don’t get tangled in definitions.
Trust your gut instinct.
Now imagine yourself being these things in that situation.
This is your ‘Design Code’.

How to use your Design Code.
Create and use a Design Code whenever you want to recalibrate; when feeling flustered, anxious, agitated, upset, unhinged, doubtful, self-conscious, uneasy - even in moments of temptation or procrastination.

In moments of flurry or anxiety _ spell your words. The neuroscience behind this is fascinating. Try it.

Try on each word like trying on clothes – ask yourself what each word looks and feels like in your situation. E.g. ‘what does WISDOM look like here?’

Imagine yourself in your situation ‘being’ your words.
What is the expression on your face?
What is the tone of your voice?
What is your posture?
What kind of things are you saying?
What are you wearing?
How are you breathing?
Use it in any situation. Regular practice with life’s little challenges will help train your mind to be ready for any bigger misfortunes or emergencies.
We wish you well in the quest to find that small space between a happening and your response and that you enjoy being these things – if only for a moment.
